1897 Tern Belfast Lough one-design by WM Fife

Built at Carrickfergus Ireland; as one of nine built to race by gentlemen of the era. This class were named after sea birds; Tern is one of only three now remaining. Terns total restoration began in 1996 taking some five year to complete and restoring her back to original. During restoration Tern consumed four trees of Larch together with hand chosen Afromosia, White Oak and Teak. The sailing qualities of this classic yacht are renowned on the South West coast of England.
